Golf Cart Guidelines

Purpose: This job aid was designed for a resort company whose employees must safely transport guests around the park using golf carts. The job aid is posted in the golf cart for easy reference after an employee completes initial training. As a result of this job aid, guest safety and golf cart mechanical functions were better maintained.

Trailer Safety

Purpose: These graphics were designed for field staff within an agricultural organization whose employees must safely hitch, drive, and park a trailer during an agricultural emergency. The page is part of the handbook developed as a quick reference guide for new procedures involving the trailers. The graphics provided employees with an easy, visual reference that increased safety during emergencies.

EP Division One-Pager

Purpose: This infographic was designed as an outreach material to educate external agencies of the available partnership with the EP Division. Field staff are responsible for maintaining partnerships with emergency managers, public health disaster preparedness coordinators, and agricultural cooperative extensions. Due to high churn in these roles, knowledge of EP Division was limited and the customer relationships needed better established. This one-pager provided both electronic and printed introductory material to begin, build, and maintain continuous relationships with many partners to serve customers in the most effective ways possible.

Phone Call Script

Purpose: This guide was designed for customer service representatives taking phone calls for appliance service requests. Representatives were not asking detailed questions about the appliance, hindering the appliance technicians from being adequately prepared for the work order upon arrival to the repair location. As a result of this job aid, important details were added to the work order by the representative and technician productivity increased.
